DALLAS, May 22 (UPI) -- Goalkeeper Nick Rimando's diving save in the 25th minute Sunday helped preserve Real Salt Lake's 0-0 draw with FC Dallas.

Dallas' Marvin Chavez moved in and sent a cross to the top of the 18-yard box where George John passed it forward toward the goal, forcing Rimando to make a diving fingertip save.

The game was delayed more than 90 minutes by lightning in the 83rd minute.

Salt Lake (5-1-2) was without injured play-making midfielder Javier Morales.

FC Dallas, meanwhile, was without the services of leading scorer David Ferreira, who has a long-term injury.

Dallas (5-3-3) extended its unbeaten streak to six games with the draw.
