MILWAUKEE, May 22 (UPI) -- Milwaukee left-hander Randy Wolf hurled seven innings of one-run ball and the Brewers downed Colorado 3-1 Sunday despite collecting only two hits.
Wolf (4-4) won for the first time in five starts, holding the Rockies to four hits while walking three and striking out five as the Brewers swept a three-game series at Miller Park.
Kameron Loe pitched a scoreless eighth and John Axford picked up his 12th save in the Brewers' win.
Milwaukee scored all three of its runs in the third inning when Ryan Braun hit a two-run triple and scored when center fielder Dexter Fowler threw wildly on the play.
Rockies ace Ubaldo Jimenez (0-4) remained winless despite tossing a complete-game two-hitter, surrendering five walks to go with four strikeouts.
Carlos Gonzalez got the only RBI for Colorado, which lost for the fourth time in five games.
