
TORONTO, May 22 (UPI) -- Hunter Pence socked a go-ahead homer and Wandy Rodriguez delivered six strong innings Sunday in the Houston Astros' 3-2 win over Toronto.
Pence's blast in the fifth inning put the Astros up 3-1 and Brett Wallace added two hits and an RBI for Houston, which took the rubber match of their three-game interleague series with the Blue Jays.
Rodriguez (3-3) yielded two runs on six hits, walking three and striking out six for the Astros.
Wilton Lopez tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief and Mark Melancon picked up his third save despite loading the bases with two outs in the ninth inning.
Kyle Drabek (3-3) was tagged with three runs on eight hits over six frames for the Blue Jays.
Juan Rivera and J.P. Arencibia connected for solo homers in Toronto's loss.
