
ATLANTA, May 14 (UPI) -- Jair Jurrjens baffled the Phillies on three hits over 7 1/3 innings Saturday and the Atlanta Braves posted a 5-3 decision over Philadelphia.
Jurrjens (5-0) carried a perfect game into the sixth inning and ended up allowing only three hits and a walk while striking out six for the Braves, which took the second contest in a three-game set against the National League East leaders.
The right-hander bested the Phils for the second time within a week, following a one-run, 6 1/3-inning performance Sunday.
Prado and Nate McLouth connected on back-to-back homers leading off the game for the Braves.
Phillies starter Joe Blanton (1-2). meanwhile, surrendered two runs in five innings in absorbing the loss.
Jimmy Rollins and Wilson Valdez drove in runs for Philadelphia.
