SAN FRANCISCO, May 12 (UPI) -- Andres Torres put San Francisco in front with an RBI double in the sixth Wednesday and the Giants held on to edge Arizona 4-3.
San Francisco rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win its fourth straight.
Aubrey Huff hit a homer to lead off the fifth inning, lifting San Francisco into a 3-3 tie, and the Giants then scored the winning run in the sixth off starter Armando Galarraga.
Galarraga (3-3) gave up a one-out double to Miguel Tejada in the sixth and was relieved by Juan Gutierrez, who retired Pat Burrell on a fly ball to center. Torres then drove a ball to right that hopped over the wall for a ground-rule double.
The San Francisco comeback gave the win to starter Jonathan Sanchez (3-2), who allowed three runs on six hits with seven strikeouts over six innings.
Brian Wilson worked the ninth for his 12th save, but it did not come easy.
Wilson put runners on first and second with nobody out, but Henry Blanco popped out trying to bunt, Russell Branyan grounded out and Kelly Johnson hit a fly ball to center that ended the game.
