
TORONTO, May 11 (UPI) -- Rajai Davis stole two bases and scored the game-winning run on a 10th-inning sacrifice fly Tuesday, handing the Toronto Blue Jays a 7-6 win over Boston.
Davis stroked a one-out single in the 10th off Matt Albers (0-1), stole second, then stole third and came home on David Cooper's sacrifice fly to deep center, lifting the Blue Jays to a win in the first of two games against the Red Sox.
Carlos Villanueva (1-0) earned the win after tossing a scoreless top of the 10th. Frank Francisco blew a save for Toronto by allowing a game-tying homer to Adrian Gonzalez in the ninth.
Cooper, Jose Bautista and J.P. Arencibia each smacked solo home runs for the Blue Jays.
Gonzalez hit a two-run homer in the fifth for the Red Sox and finished with three hits. David Ortiz went 3-for-5 with solo shot for Boston.
