MLB: Chicago White Sox 8, LA Angels 0

ANAHEIM, Calif., May 10 (UPI) -- Carlos Quentin had five RBI and Edwin Jackson tossed seven shutout innings Monday, leading the Chicago White Sox to an 8-0 rout of the Los Angeles Angels.

Quentin smacked a three-run home run and added a pair of run-scoring doubles, Gordon Beckham belted a two-run shot and Alexi Ramirez chipped in with a bases-empty home run for the White Sox, who posted their third straight win.

Jackson (3-4) scattered five hits, walked one and fanned five, breaking a personal four-game losing skid.

Angels starter Ervin Santana (1-4) was roughed up for five runs, allowing eight hits in a six-inning performance.

Los Angeles saw its three-game winning streak snapped.
