Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI
SEATTLE, May 8 (UPI) -- Alexei Ramirez doubled home the first of three Chicago runs in the 10th inning Sunday to bring the White Sox a 5-2 win over Seattle.
Chicago took two out of three from the Mariners and won a series for the first time since capturing three out of four from Tampa Bay more than a month ago.
The score had been tied at 2-2 since the fifth when the White Sox came to the plate in the 10th facing Seattle closer Brandon League (0-1).
Brent Morel led off the inning with a single, moved to second on a sacrifice by Juan Pierre and scored the go-ahead run on the double by Ramirez.
Ramirez then scored on a double by Adam Dunn and, after Aaron Laffey replaced League and gave up a base hit to Paul Konerko, Alex Rios drove in another run with a single.
Konerko had five of Chicago's 12 hits.
Sergio Santos (1-0), who replaced starter Mark Buehrle in the ninth, worked the final two innings to get the win.
