MLB: San Fran. 7, N.Y. Mets 6 (10 innings)

NEW YORK, May 3 (UPI) -- Aubrey Huff smacked a home run in the 10th inning Tuesday, helping the San Francisco Giants to a 7-6 decision over the New York Mets.

Huff led off the frame by cracking a 2-0 pitch from Taylor Buchholz (1-1) off the facing of the second deck in right field, giving the Giants their third lead of the game.

Brian Wilson made it hold it up, collecting his ninth save with a 1-2-3 bottom of the 10th, while Javier Lopez (1-0) earned the victory with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Nate Schierholtz homered among two hits and Emmanuel Burriss added two hits and an RBI for San Francisco, which won for only the fourth time in 12 games.

Carlos Beltran connected for a three-run homer and Ike Davis added a two-run shot for the Mets, who lost for the fourth time in five contests.

New York starter R.A. Dickey was lit up for six runs on seven hits over six frames.
