
CINCINNATI, May 3 (UPI) -- Jason Bourgeois went 3-for-5 with two RBI and the Houston Astros banged out 13 hits Tuesday in their 10-4 victory over Cincinnati.
Bourgeois capped a six-run fourth inning with a two-run double while Brett Wallace and Chris Johnson each homered among two hits for the Astros, who took the opener of a three-game set against the Reds.
Clint Barmes drove in a pair of runs with a double and scored for Houston.
J.A. Happ (2-4) earned the win despite allowing four runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings. He helped his own cause with an RBI single during Houston's big inning.
Drew Stubbs contributed a two-run double for Cincinnati.
Reds starter Mike Leake (3-1) was roughed up for seven runs on seven hits, lasting only 3 2/3 frames.
