
NEW YORK, April 29 (UPI) -- Chicago White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen has been suspended for two games for his actions following his ejection from a game Wednesday.
Major League Baseball officials fined Guillen an undisclosed amount and ordered him to miss Chicago's games Friday and Saturday against Baltimore.
Guillen was thrown of out of Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees for arguing with umpire Todd Tichenor about balls and strikes. New York won the game 3-1.
After leaving the dugout, Guillen went to the locker room and filed comments on his Twitter account, including "This one is going to cost me a lot of money this is patetic (sic)" and "Today a tough guy show up at yankee stadium."
Use of social media during a game is a violation of MLB rules.
