MLB: Cleveland 9, Kansas City 5

CLEVELAND, April 26 (UPI) -- Jack Hannahan homered twice among his three hits and the Cleveland Indians pounded out five round-trippers Tuesday en route to a 9-5 victory over Kansas City.

Shin-Soo Choo connected for a three-run blast and drove in Cleveland's first run with a fielder's choice grounder as the Indians collected 13 hits while breaking a three-game losing streak.

Grady Sizemore added a two-run shot, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored, and Matt LaPorta also went deep for the Tribe.

Justin Masterson (5-0) remained undefeated in five starts this season, yielding three runs on five hits over 6 2/3 innings, walking two and striking out seven.

The Royals' Luke Hochevar (2-3) was torched for six runs on 11 hits in a 6 1/3-inning start.

Melky Cabrera went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI for Kansas City.
