MLB: Chicago White Sox 2, N.Y. Yankees 0

NEW YORK, April 25 (UPI) -- Phil Humber no-hit the Yankees for 6 1/3 innings Monday and the Chicago White Sox went on to blank New York 2-0.

Humber (2-2), making only his sixth major-league start, dominated the Yankees' powerful lineup, not allowing a hit until a ground single by Alex Rodriguez with one out in the seventh inning.

The right-hander allowed just the one hit while walking two and striking out five for the White Sox, who won for just the second time in 12 games.

Chris Sale recorded two outs in the eighth and Sergio Santos collected a four-out save to finish the shutout -- the first shutout thrown against the Yankees this year.

Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko drove in runs for the White Sox.

New York starter A.J. Burnett (3-1) allowed one run on three hits over eight innings.
