MLB: N.Y. Yankees 6, Baltimore 3 (11 inn.)

BALTIMORE, April 24 (UPI) -- Russell Martin's infield single in the top of the 11th inning drove in the go-ahead run Sunday and the New York Yankees recorded a 6-3 win over Baltimore.

Robinson Cano doubled to lead off the 11th off Jason Berken (0-1) and stole third base. After Nick Swisher struck out, Eric Chavez was intentionally walked, putting runners at the corners.

Martin hit a grounder to deep short that Robert Andino dove to stop, which was ruled a hit. Andino, however, got up and tried to throw Chavez out at second, but his toss sailed wide, allowing Chavez to go to third.

He scored on Derek Jeter's single and Curtis Granderson later added an RBI for the Yankees, who swept a rain-shortened two-game series and won for the 17th time in 21 meetings with the Orioles.

Boone Logan (1-1) was credited with the victory with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Mark Reynolds cracked a two-run homer for the O's, who fell for the 11th time in 14 games.
