MLB: Seattle 13, Detroit 3

SEATTLE, April 20 (UPI) -- Chone Figgins went 3-for-4 with three RBI Tuesday in the Seattle Mariners' 13-3 romp over Detroit.

Ichiro Suzuki racked up four hits and two RBI for the Mariners, who totaled 15 hits in the game and won for the second time in seven tries. Milton Bradley and Chris Gimenez had two RBI apiece for Seattle.

Doug Fister (1-3) picked up the win, allowing two runs on five hits with seven strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.

Phil Coke (1-3) took the loss for the Tigers, giving up six runs -- only two earned -- on six hits and four walks.

Miguel Cabrera had two hits and an RBI and Brendan Boesch had three hits for Detroit.

The Mariners scored four runs in the first inning and then added five in the seventh and two in the eighth to complete the rout.
