SAN ANTONIO, April 18 (UPI) -- Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph is set to sign a four-year contract extension worth $66 million, The (Memphis) Commercial Appeal reported Monday.
Citing "two sources with knowledge of the situation," the newspaper said Randolph's agent, Raymond Brothers, and Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace agreed to a deal in principle Saturday night.
The contract reportedly includes $5 million in added incentives.
The sources said Randolph was expected to sign the contract Monday or Tuesday, with the team making an official announcement before the start of Wednesday's Game 2 of the Western Conference quarterfinal series between Memphis and the San Antonio Spurs.
The 6-foot-9 forward was in line to become an unrestricted free agent July 1. He was playing in the last year of a contract that paid him $17 million this season, The Commercial Appeal reported.
