NBA: Chicago 104, Indiana 99

CHICAGO, April 16 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose scored 11 points in the fourth quarter Saturday and Chicago rallied for a 104-99 win over Indiana in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.

Trailing 98-88 with 3 1/2 minutes left, Chicago outscored Indiana 16-1 down the stretch to stun the Pacers and grab a 1-0 lead in their Eastern Conference quarterfinals series.

Rose scored five straight points on a pair of baskets and a foul shot to tie the game 99-99 with 1:27 remaining and Kyle Korver's 3-pointer 15 seconds later gave the Bulls their first lead.

Rose went 19-of-21 from the free throw line, Luol Deng added 18 points to go with 10 rebounds and Korver finished 4-of-4 from beyond the arc en route to 13 points for the Bulls.

Danny Granger led the Pacers with 24 points and Tyler Hansbrough added 22 in the setback.
