
CLEVELAND, April 16 (UPI) -- Orlando Cabrera drove in four runs Saturday, backing a strong start by Josh Tomlin, and the red-hot Cleveland Indians posted an 8-3 victory over Baltimore.
Cabrera smacked a two-run homer in the seventh inning, added a two-run single and scored three times for the Tribe, who notched their sixth straight home win and surged to 10-4 to start the season.
Travis Hafner went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Shin-Soo Choo pounded a solo homer and Travis Buck added three hits and an RBI in Cleveland's win.
Tomlin (3-0) earned the victory, holding the O's to two runs on six hits over six innings while walking none and striking out four.
Jeremy Guthrie (1-2) was torched for six runs on 10 hits in a five-inning start for Baltimore, which dropped its sixth straight after beginning the season with a 6-1 run.
Jake Fox and Luke Scott hit solo homers for the Orioles.
