TAMPA, Fla., April 16 (UPI) -- John Cook fired a 6-under-par 65 Saturday, using six birdies to post a one-shot lead after two rounds of the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am.

Cook moved to 11-under par 131 in his quest for his second Champions Tour victory over the year and seventh of his seniors career.

One shot behind at minus-10 was first-round leader Russ Cochran, whose four birdies and a bogey earned him a 3-under 68.

Alone in third place was Jay Don Blake (68) at 8-under 143.

Knotted in fourth at minus-6 were Tom Pernice Jr. (68) and Joey Sindelar (68).
