Ten charged in San Diego point-shave probe

SAN DIEGO, April 11 (UPI) -- A San Diego grand jury indicted 10 people in an alleged college basketball point-shaving scheme, including two former players and an ex-assistant coach.

The U.S. Attorney's office in San Diego said Monday the federal indictment accused the defendants of bribing players to change the outcome of games and placing bets on those games in Las Vegas.
