Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

DENVER, April 11 (UPI) -- J.R. Smith netted 22 points Monday, leading a parade of nine Nuggets reaching double figures in Denver's 134-111 rout of Golden State.
The one-sided win helped the Nuggets clinch the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
Also scoring in double digits were Kosta Koufos with 18 points, Gary Forbes and Raymond Felton with 15 each, and Chris Andersen, Ty Lawson and Kenyon Martin, who added 14 apiece.
Rounding out the scoring list were Nene with 12 points and Arron Afflalo with 10.
The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry and Dorell Wright with 27 points each.
