Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
DALLAS, April 10 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds Sunday in the Dallas Mavericks' 115-90 victory over Phoenix.
Shawn Marion added 18 points to go with 11 rebounds, and Peja Stojakovic and Jason Terry each netted 17 points off the bench for the Mavericks, who swept the four-game season series from the Suns.
Jose Juan Barea added 15 points and six assists off the bench for Dallas, which came into the contest a half-game behind the Los Angeles Lakers for the second seed in the Western Conference.
Marcin Gortat netted 15 points and grabbed nine boards for the Suns, who will miss the playoffs for the second time in three seasons.
