FORT WORTH, Texas, April 10 (UPI) -- Matt Kenseth snapped a 76-race Sprint Cup winless streak Saturday, cruising to a victory in the Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Kenseth won for the first time since February 2009 at California with a dominating performance during which he led for 169 of 334 laps and finished 8.3 seconds ahead of Clint Bowyer.

Kenseth's victory, the 19th of his career, was his first at Texas since 2002.

Bowyer ended up in second place. Kenseth's Roush Fenway Racing teammates Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle came in next at third and fourth respectively.

Rounding out the top five was Paul Menard.
