NBA: Detroit 110, Milwaukee 100

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 8 (UPI) -- Chris Wilcox led Detroit with a season-best 27 points Friday and the Pistons halted a four-game losing streak by downing Milwaukee 110-100.

In a contest between teams that will miss the playoffs, Wilcox grabbed 13 rebounds and made 12-of-18 shots from the field. Detroit shot 50 percent as a team and was good on 28-of-31 free throw attempts.

Rodney Stuckey chipped in 22 points and Tayshaun Prince had 16 for the Pistons, who appear likely to finish 11th among the 15 teams in the Eastern Conference.

Brandon Jennings scored 31 points for the Bucks.

The Pistons learned earlier in the day that businessman Tom Gores has reached an agreement to purchase the team from owner Karen Davidson.
