DALLAS, April 6 (UPI) -- Kari Lehtonen had 23 saves Tuesday to help the Dallas Stars to a 3-0 clutch win over Columbus.

Brendan Morrow, Steve Ott and Loui Eriksson scored goals for the Stars, who won their second straight game and trail Chicago by two points in the battle for the final Western Conference playoff berth.

Mathieu Garon allowed one goal on 28 shots for the Blue Jackets, who are out of the playoff mix. Morrow and Eriksson scored into an empty net with Garon on the bench.

Ott scored on a power play at 5:00 of the first period and Lehtonen did the rest. Dallas outshot the Jackets 30-23.
