NBA: Milwaukee 90, Miami 85

MIAMI, April 6 (UPI) -- Brandon Jennings made two free throws with 6 seconds to play Wednesday, clinching the Milwaukee Bucks' 90-85 victory over Miami.

Despite the win, the Bucks were eliminated from playoff contention when Indiana wrapped up the final post-season berth in the Eastern Conference earlier in the evening.

Mike Miller brought the Heat within three points by hitting a 3-pointer with 11 seconds remaining but Jennings came through at the foul line.

John Salmons scored 17 points for the Bucks while Luc Mbah a Moute had 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Miami, which had won three in a row, got 29 points from LeBron James. James reached the 2,000-point mark for the seventh straight season and, at age 26, he is the youngest in NBA history to do so.

Chris Bosh added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Heat, who played without Dwyane Wade.

Wade is recovering from a thigh bruise he suffered Sunday.

Miami slipped a half game behind idle Boston for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
