ST. LOUIS, April 4 (UPI) -- Andrew McCutchen's two-run homer highlighted a sixth-inning rally Monday that carried the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 4-3 victory over St. Louis.
With the Pirates trailing 1-0 entering the sixth, Ronny Cedeno led off with a single and was sacrificed to second before Jose Tabata drew a walk off Cardinals' starter Kyle Lohse (0-1). Neil Walker (3-for-4) then doubled home both runners for a 2-1 Pittsburgh lead and McCutchen followed with a blast to right, handing the Pirates their third win in four games to start the season.
Charlie Morton (1-0) allowed only one run over six innings, limiting the Cardinals to three hits while overcoming five walks.
Joel Hanrahan got the final four outs to notch his third save of the season.
Lance Berkman and Allen Craig drove in runs for St. Louis.
