VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 3 (UPI) -- Devan Dubnyk turned aside 40 shots Saturday and the last-place Edmonton Oilers downed NHL-best Vancouver 4-1.

Dubnyk turned aside all 21 shots he faced in the final period and raised his record to 15-22-10 as Edmonton snapped a season's-worst, 11-game losing streak.

Jordan Eberle, Linus Omark and Kurtis Foster each contributed a goal and an assist, and Magnus Paajarvi also found the net for the Oilers.

The Canucks, fresh from securing the President's Trophy as the NHL team with the best regular season record (52-18-9), promptly lost to the squad with the league's worst mark (24-43-11).

Alexandre Burrows scored and Cory Schneider made 30 saves for Vancouver.
