MLB: Toronto 6, Minnesota 1

TORONTO, April 2 (UPI) -- Kyle Drabek tossed seven innings of one-hit ball Saturday and the Toronto Blue Jays spanked Minnesota 6-1.

Drabek (1-0) allowed one run, issued three walks and struck out seven in his fourth major league start, allowing only a sixth-inning single to Denard Span as the Blue Jays won their second straight to start the season.

Jayson Nix and Jose Molina homered and Travis Snyder drove in a pair of runs with a fifth-inning double for Toronto.

Francisco Liriano (0-1) was touched for four runs on four hits over 4 1/3 innings, issuing five walks and fanning three for the Twins, who fell to 0-2 on the young season.
