ATLANTA, April 1 (UPI) -- Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 20 points Friday and help Atlanta rally from a big deficit to down Boston 88-83.

The Celtics led by as many as 14 points in the third period, but Atlanta took the lead for good midway through the final quarter on a jump shot by Al Horford and held on to capture its fourth straight win.

Atlanta is headed for an almost-certain, fifth-place finish in the Eastern Conference and a first-round playoff meeting with Orlando.

Joe Johnson had 19 points for the Hawks and Horford scored 16 points to go with 15 rebounds.

Boston fell three games behind Chicago in the race for the best record in the Eastern Conference. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 25 points.

Atlanta avoided a sweep by Boston in their three-game series this year.
