DENVER, April 1 (UPI) -- An 11th-inning wild pitch by Matt Lindstrom allowed Gerardo Parra score Friday, leading to a 7-6 Arizona win over Colorado.

The Diamondbacks had missing opportunities to put the Rockies away in the ninth and 10th innings when they left runners in scoring position.

Parra opened the 11th with a single, went to third on Willie Bloomquist's one-out single and scored on the errant pitch by Lindstrom (0-1).

J.J. Putz got the season-opening win by retiring the Rockies in order in the bottom of the 11th.
