EDMONTON, Alberta, March 30 (UPI) -- Jonathan Bernier stopped 32 shots for his third shutout of the season and Dustin Brown scored two goals Tuesday in the Los Angeles Kings' 2-0 win over Edmonton.
Brown scored both goals in the second period and Trevor Lewis notched a pair of assists for the Kings, who have won four straight games in their battle with Phoenix for the No. 4 slot in the Western Conference playoff lineup.
Brown led the Kings in shots-on-goal with nine, taking up some of the slack in the absence of Anze Kopitar -- who leads the Kings with 25 goal and 233 shots on goal this season but was lost for the rest of the campaign after breaking his ankle Saturday in a game against Colorado.
Nikolai Khabibulin had 31 saves for Edmonton, which has lost 10 in a row.
