Portland improved its lead over New Orleans for the Western Conference's sixth seed to a full game with the win, which snapped a four-game road losing streak for the Blazers.
The Spurs retained the NBA's best record at 57-17 but have dropped all four games since losing forward Tim Duncan to a sprained left ankle.
