NHL: St. Louis 6, Minnesota 3

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 26 (UPI) -- David Backes and Alex Pietrangelo each had a goal and an assist Saturday in the St. Louis Blues' 6-3 spanking of reeling Minnesota.

Matt D'Agostini, Adam Cracknell, Chris Stewart and Patrik Berglund also scored and Ty Conklin surrendered three goals on just 16 shots to help the Blues to their second straight win.

Minnesota surrendered a 2-1 lead and fell for a franchise-record eighth straight time.

Antti Miettinen scored two goals, Marek Zidlicky scored one and Andrew Brunette had three assists for the Wild. Niklas Backstrom turned aside 41-of-47 shots.
