NBA: Denver 114, Washington 94

DENVER, March 25 (UPI) -- Danilo Gallinari was one of four Denver players with 17 points Friday and the Nuggets cruised to their ninth straight home win, 114-94 over Washington.

Denver has won seven out of nine overall and remained in a solid fifth place in the Western Conference.

The Nuggets scored the last 13 points of the opening period to take a 30-16 advantage and they were not threatened the rest of the way.

Ty Lawson, Chris Anderson and Al Harrington all joined Gallinari with 17 points while J.R. Smith had 14 for the Nuggets.

Washington, with just one road victory in 35 tries this season, was led by Jordan Crawford with 19 points. The Wizards have dropped nine out of 10.
