COL BKB: Wichita State 82, Charleston 75

WICHITA, Kan., March 23 (UPI) -- Gabe Blair fired in 16 points Wednesday and Wichita State posted an 82-75 victory over the College of Charleston in an NIT quarterfinal game.

Blair collected eight rebounds and J.T. Durley added 14 points for Wichita State (27-8), which advances to Madison Square Garden in New York for a semifinal game against Washington State, which beat Northwestern Wednesday 69-66 in overtime.

Joe Ragland chipped in with 12 points and Toure Murry netted 11 for the Shockers, who connected on 60.9 percent of their second-half shots.

Charleston (26-11) was led by Andrew Goudelock with 31 points and Donavan Monroe scored 19.
