AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 23 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade scored 24 points and Chris Bosh added 23 Wednesday, sparking the surging Miami Heat to a 100-94 decision over Detroit.

LeBron James contributed 19 points and the Heat went on a 30-13 run to close the game and rally for the victory, their sixth in seven games following a five-game skid.

Mike Miller drained a 3-pointer at the end of the third quarter to ignite the big run, which allowed the third-seeded Heat to move within 1 1/2 games of Boston for second place in the Eastern Conference.

Boston fell to Memphis Wednesday 90-87.

Richard Hamilton led the Pistons with 27 points.

Detroit lost for the seventh time in 10 games.
