NBA: Indiana 111, Charlotte 88

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 23 (UPI) -- Danny Granger poured in 33 points Wednesday and the Indiana Pacers remained on a playoff track with a 111-88 victory over Charlotte.

Granger went 11-of-19 from the floor and Tyler Hansbrough contributed 24 points for the Pacers, who downed Charlotte for the seventh straight time and opened up a three-game lead over the Bobcats in the race for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Roy Hibbert added 13 points and 14 rebounds as Indiana won for the third time in four games.

Charlotte got 17 points from D.J. Augustin. Kwame Brown had 16 points and nine rebounds for the fading Bobcats, who dropped their fourth straight game.
