PULLMAN, Wash., March 22 (UPI) -- Klay Thompson pumped in 21 points Monday and second-seeded Washington State downed No. 3 Oklahoma State 74-64 in an NIT second-round game.
Thompson grabbed eight rebounds and Brock Motum added 17 points for the Cougars (21-12), who will face Northwestern in the quarterfinals Wednesday.

DeAngelo Casto contributed 13 points and Abe Lodwick drained a trio of 3-pointers for nine points in Washington State's victory.
Matt Pilgrim struck for 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Cowboys (20-14).
