WASHINGTON, March 20 (UPI) -- John Wall scored 26 points and handed out eight assists Sunday, pacing the Washington Wizards to a 98-92 win over the New Jersey Nets.

Jordan Crawford added 21 points and JaVale McGee contributed 16 and seven boards as Washington snapped a six-game losing streak.

Maurice Evans netted 15 points off the bench for the Wizards, who won for only the second time in their last 15 games.

The Nets, meanwhile, continued their struggles away from home, dropping to 4-29 on the road.

Brook Lopez led New Jersey with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Jordan Farmar distributed a career-high 17 assists while providing 10 points for the Nets.
