LENZERHEIDE, Switzerland, March 19 (UPI) -- Croatia's Ivica Kostelic added the slalom to his haul of season championships in the Alpine World Cup standings Saturday.

Kostelic finished 18th in Saturday's weather-challenged slalom in Switzerland and collected enough points to clinch the men's season title in the event.

Kostelic, who last weekend clinched the overall men's title, finished with 478 points in the slalom. Jean-Baptiste Grange of France ended the season in second with 442 points, and Andre Myhrer was third with 423.

Ted Ligety was the top American in ninth place. He came in 12th in Saturday's race.

Italian Guliano Razzoli won the race, which took place despite the heavy fog and mushy snow that scrubbed the women's giant slalom.
