
MILWAUKEE, March 18 (UPI) -- Carlos Delfino and John Salmons fueled a second-half surge Friday that gave the Milwaukee Bucks a 110-95 victory over New Jersey.
The Bucks ended a streak of three straight losses and remained within 2 1/2 games of Indiana for the eighth and final playoff position in the Eastern Conference.
Delfino had 26 points and Salmons scored 25 in sending the Bucks to their eighth win in as many meetings with the Nets. Brandon Jennings added 16 points and 10 assists as part of a 56 percent shooting performance by Milwaukee.
New Jersey has lost two in a row after having captured five straight. Brook Lopez led the Nets with 25 points.
Milwaukee went on a 14-3 run during a stretch spanning the third and fourth periods to break open the game. The Nets scored those three points during a stretch of 6:36.
