The Cougars, seeded third in the Southeast Region, finally broke things open by scoring eight straight points to take a 14-point advantage with 3:50 to play. BYU's next opponent will be Gonzaga, which produced an 86-71 upset win over St. John's.

Logan Magnusson, Noah Hartsock and Charles Abouo all scored 10 points for BYU (31-4), which established a school record for most wins in a season.

Wofford (21-13) got 22 points from Noah Dahlman. The Terriers managed only 4-of-20 from 3-point range.
