CINCINNATI, March 16 (UPI) -- An Ohio judge has ordered Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco to pay a clothing store more than $11,000 for clothing he bought but did not pay for.

Municipal Court Judge Bernie Bouchard ordered Ochocinco to pay Amm One, also known as Exclusive Wear, $11,717.39 for the clothes, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Wednesday.

"My clients informed me they had given him ample opportunity to pay it and he didn't," Joseph Honerlaw, the attorney for the clothing company, said Tuesday.

The clothing was purchased between Sept. 19, 2008, and March 31, 2009, court documents show.

Authorities tried twice to serve Ochocinco with a lawsuit filed by the clothing company but failed.

When Ochocinco didn't appear in court Tuesday, Bouchard ruled in favor of the clothing company.

Ochocinco, formerly known as Chad Johnson, is under contract to the Bengals for $6 million next year and was paid $6.7 million in 2010, the Enquirer reported.
