NHL: Boston 3, Columbus 2 (SO)

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 15 (UPI) -- Tyler Seguin scored in a shootout and Tuukka Rask made 34 saves Tuesday, helping the Boston Bruins edge Columbus 3-2.

Rask stopped Rick Nash, Fedor Tyutin and Scottie Upshall in the tiebreaker, allowing the Northeast Division-leading Bruins to break a four-game losing streak and move four points ahead of Montreal.

Montreal lost to Washington Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets, who lost for the eighth time in nine games, got goals from Grant Clitsome and Scottie Upshall and Steve Mason made 27 saves.
