OKLAHOMA CITY, March 12 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant led the way with 24 points Friday and the Oklahoma City Thunder pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 104-94 victory over Detroit.
The Thunder opened as much as an 18-point cushion in the final period to win their second straight and sweep the season series from Detroit for the second year in a row.
James Harden chipped in 22 points off the bench, making three of Oklahoma City's nine 3-pointers. Serge Ibaka added 16 points and Russell Westbrook had 13 points and 11 assists.
Detroit lost for the 10th time in 13 games and fell to 7-26 on the road this season. Richard Hamilton led the Pistons with 20 points.
Oklahoma City scored the first seven points of the fourth period to build a 93-75 cushion, allowing the Thunder to withstand a nine-point run by the Pistons.
