GREENSBORO, N.C., March 12 (UPI) -- Harrison Barnes pumped in 40 points Saturday for No. 7 North Carolina in the Tar Heels' 92-87 overtime win over Clemson in the ACC Tournament semifinals.

Barnes, who also hauled down eight rebounds, got 14 of his points in overtime. His 3-pointer with 1:23 remaining in regulation time sparked a score-tying 7-0 rally down the stretch for the Tar Heels (26-6).

Andre Young hit two 3-pointers in the final minute of overtime for Clemson, but Barnes made four free throws to ice the victory as North Carolina advanced to face longtime rival Duke in Sunday's ACC tourney final.

John Henson added 18 points and 11 boards for the Tar Heels.

Demontez Stitt led the Tigers (21-11) with 25 points and Milton Jennings contributed 16 and seven boards.
