NBA: Milwaukee 95, Washington 76

WASHINGTON, March 8 (UPI) -- Brandon Jennings and John Salmons combined for 45 points Tuesday and the Milwaukee Brewers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 95-76 win over Washington.

Jennings pumped in 23 points, Salmons added 22 and Carlos Delfino contributed 15 points and seven rebounds for the Bucks, who came into the contest 3 1/2 games behind Indiana for eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Milwaukee center Andrew Bogut returned after missing three games with a strained ribcage muscle and responded with 14 points, nine boards and seven assists.

Jordan Crawford scored 22 points for the Wizards, who hit only two 3-pointers.
