
ORLANDO, Fla., March 7 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 points Monday and the Portland Trail Blazers posted an 89-85 win over Orlando, which played without suspended star Dwight Howard.
Aldridge contributed a pair of baskets during 10-2 run late in the fourth quarter that lifted the Trail Blazers to their sixth straight road victory as they began a four-game trip.
Andre Miller added 15 points and Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace each collected nine rebounds for Portland.
The Magic committed 18 turnovers in the absence of leading scorer Howard, who was serving a one-game suspension after amassing a league-high 16 technical fouls. The all-star center has provided 23.1 points and 13.9 rebounds per game for the Magic this season.
Jason Richardson led the Magic with 22 points.
