CHARLEROI, Belgium, March 6 (UPI) -- Spain wrapped up a 4-1 victory over Belgium Sunday with a pair of dead rubber wins en route to July's Davis Cup quarterfinals round.

World No. 1 Rafael Nadal scored a one-sided 6-4, 6-2 win over Olivier Rochus in the day's first reverse-singles match-up, putting powerful Spain up 4-0.

But Steve Darcis was able to salvage a 6-7 (4-7), 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (7-3) victory for Belgium over Feliciano Lopez in the match's final rubber.

Spain will travel to the United States to face the American squad during this summer's quarterfinals.

The Spaniards clinched the best-of-five tie Saturday with a doubles victory by the team of Lopez and Verdasco.
